Unheated Hoop-house

Kale Inside Hoop-house
In my garden, i use unheated hoop-houses to extend my growing season.
These Do It Yourself (DIY) structures do a great job in extending my growing seasons in the fall, winter as well as in the spring months.
I started growing my cold hardy crops indoors mid to late summer. This ensures that the crops are almost or at full maturity when my first frost hits mid-October.
I’m able to harvest my crops in the colder months, right into spring. The hoop-houses act as a living winter food storage gardens.
In this hoop-house, I’m growing Spinach, Swiss chard, Kale, Lettuce, Broccoli and Cauliflower.
